Dick Cobb - the Picture Taker -

Dick has been with the University of Illinois as shepherd and sheep extion specialist for over 30 years . It is now getting time for him to retire. That means he will be home most of the time. or he would have been. Pictures have become his favorite past time. He knows all the back roads where he can find livestock, great old home made signs, people and so much more. Then, of course, there is the family - 2 beautiful daughters their great husbands and 4 gorgious grandchilcdren.

Dick has started entering some local photo competions - Monticello Town Days, Champaign Camera Club, Penn Sheep & Woolgrowers Calendar and Goat Ranchers Magazine. He has won several First place, second place ribbons, Honerable Mention, Magazine Cover and Calendar Pages. His pictures of the University of Illinois have been enjoyed by many, both faculty within and students that attended here.
