Dick Cobb - The Picture Taker -

Dick has been with the University of Illinois as shepherd and sheep extention specialist for over 30 years . It is now getting time for him to retire. That means he will be home most of the time - or he would have been.

Taking pictures is now how he loves to spend his time. He knows all the backroads where he can find livestock, great old homemade signs, barns, landscapes, people and so much more. The camera goes with his every move.

Then there is the family - 2 fantastic daughters their great husbands and 4 beautiful grandchildren.

Monticello football, soccer, volleyball and softball games are taken and added all the time.

Dick has started entering some local photo competions - Monticello Town Days, Champaign Camera Club, Penn Sheep & Woolgrowers Calendar and Goat Ranchers Magazine. He has won several First place, Second place ribbons, HM, Magazine Cover and Calendar Pages. His pictures of the University of Illinois have been enjoyed by many, both faculty and students.
His pictures are now available at the Villa Gallery in Arthur, Il.
